The Weekends on the Rio Passport Program is a kids' guide to experiencing the wonderful outdoors in the San Luis Valley.  Passports will be available starting July 17.

Kids who participate get stamps from any of  the Weekends on the Rio program instructors or at the Sundays at Six booth to record their involvement. There's also a list of outdoor activities kids can do on their own or with their families.

At the end of the summer, kids turn in their passports to be eligible for prizes. There will be prizes for those who collect the most stamps, a drawing for a $500 gift certificate at Kristi Mountain Sports for anyone who has at least 12 stamps, and free passes for many outdoor activities.

We promise that if you participate in at least 5 different activities once, you will win something!

Passports must be turned in by October 31, 2016. The drawing will be held Nov. 9, 2016. Winners will be notified by phone or mail.

Even though some programming will go on throughout the year, the Weekends on the River Passport will focus on summer and fall.
